Design meets environmental protection: the cantilever chair with recycled seat shell and CO2-reduced green steel frame.
Recycled and produced in Germany according to the latest state of development: the seat shell made from polypropylene waste.
The same outstanding seating quality and ergonomics as our classic 3D seat shell. In this case, however, it is made from fully recycled and 100% recyclable polypropylene waste: resource-saving, environmentally friendly (and even inexpensive). The recycling process and plant have been specially developed for this high-quality re-compound. The result is a high-quality recyclate from used plastic that - reinforced with up to 20% glass fibre - is in no way inferior to comparable new plastic in terms of stability, elasticity and durability.
Sustainability without compromise: the tubular steel frame made from green steel.
Conventional steel production is one of the world's biggest emitters of greenhouse gases. The forward-looking alternative is called green steel: low-CO2 quality steel produced using innovative technology and renewable energy, which significantly reduces the carbon footprint. Electrically produced steel, 100% energy from green hydrogen. The resilient tubular steel frame of our new cantilever chair is made from this green steel.
